After a complete sell-out of our 2026 release, we are now opening reservations for our 2027 cask allocation.
After more than a decade in the making, Rosemaund Farm Distillery is writing the next chapter of English whisky. Our family distillery - once the original home of Chase Distillery - is back in our hands, and we’re inviting a small number of individuals to be part of what comes next.
This is your opportunity to secure one of just 50 private casks from our 2027 production.
Each cask will be filled with spirit distilled from heritage Maris Otter barley grown here in Herefordshire, double-distilled on site, and laid down to mature beside our orchards.
For this release, we have sourced exceptional first-fill ex-bourbon casks from the Willett Distillery in Kentucky - widely regarded as some of the finest in the world - shaping a whisky defined by orchard fruit, vanilla, and depth over time.

As a cask owner, you’ll be welcomed to our private dining space beside the distillery. Expect seasonal menus, exceptional wines, and guided whisky tastings - whether you’re celebrating with family, friends, or clients.
Pricing & Payment
Initial purchase: £6,000 (covers your spirit, cask, 8 years’ storage & insurance).
At bottling (est. 2034): duty, VAT, bottling, and packaging costs apply.

- Bottling & duty costs: approx. £11,580 total
- Works out at ~£46 per bottle
- Estimated retail value: £100 per bottle

Typically around 250 bottles after 8 years, though this varies with maturation and natural evaporation.
Our first production run begins in 2026, with casks filled and moved into bond soon after.

Yes, you can choose to bottle at cask strength or reduced to 46% ABV.

Yes, casks are fully owned assets and can be transferred or sold, subject to HMRC regulations.
Currently, whisky casks are exempt from CGT under HMRC guidance as “wasting assets."
