A note from the master blender

"Richer, warmer, but still unmistakably Rosemaund. Orchard fruit at the centre, with sherry depth, toasted oak and a long, gently spiced finish."

THIRD RELEASE

Flavour Profile.

The Director’s Cut is a ten-year-old English single malt built on our signature bourbon-cask style, layered with Oloroso sherry and a touch of virgin oak sourced from the Domecq family.

Bourbon casks bring orchard fruit and citrus; Oloroso adds richness and wild berries; virgin oak gives structure and spice. The result is autumnal, layered and beautifully balanced, with depth but no heaviness.

Nose

Baked red apple, orange zest and apricot, with warm toasted oak.

Palate

Rich orchard fruit, red berries and malt, layered with toasted oak and gentle baking spice.

Finish

Long and elegant, with lingering fruit, oak and warming spice.

How our whisky is shaped

Our Process.

Whisky at Rosemaund Farm Distillery begins in the soil and is shaped by people, place, and purpose.

01 / Field

It Begins in the Fields.

Our mature whisky was distilled from English-grown Maris Otter barley, selected for flavour rather than yield. We have now begun growing barley at Rosemaund as we work towards bringing more of the future recipe back to our own fields.

02 / Still

The Copper Heart.

The beer meets Fat Betty, our handcrafted copper still, where every run is guided by hand, yielding a bold yet elegant new make spirit.

03 / Cask

Time and Orchard Air.

The spirit matures in oak casks within our old farm warehouses, surrounded by Herefordshire's apple orchards. For The Director’s Cut, we selected nine fully matured bourbon casks for their lifted, orchard-led character.

04 / Bottle

Finished by Hand.

Cut with mineral-rich water from our farm, each bottle is filled, labelled, and sealed on site. Every drop carries the land, craft, and patience of Rosemaund.

WE'RE HERE TO HELP

FAQs.

What happens to bottles 1–50?

The first 50 numbered bottles of The Director’s Cut are being retained by Rosemaund Farm Distillery as part of our archive, preserving the beginning of this chapter for years to come.

Can I choose my bottle number?

Bottle numbers are allocated at random and unfortunately cannot be requested or reserved.

Why isn’t The Director’s Cut being released by ballot?

Our first releases were offered by ballot because of the very limited number of bottles available. With The Director’s Cut, we wanted to open the doors a little wider. 3,000 individually numbered bottles have been released and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Where do you deliver?

We currently deliver to addresses throughout the UK using DHL. Deliveries to some remote areas may take a little longer.

When will my order arrive?

Orders placed before 12 noon, Monday to Friday, will be dispatched the same working day and should arrive within 1–5 working days. Orders placed after midday, at weekends or on bank holidays will be dispatched the next working day.

How can I track my order?

Once DHL has collected your order, you’ll receive an email or text message containing your tracking information.

Do I need to be at home for delivery?

As our orders contain alcohol, someone aged 18 or over must be available to accept the delivery and may be asked to provide identification.

Can I order more than one bottle?

Yes, subject to availability. Any limits applying to a particularly rare or limited release will be clearly shown on the product page.

Can I send Rosemaund whisky as a gift?

Of course. Simply enter the recipient’s address at checkout. Any available presentation or gift-box options will be shown on the product page.

Where is Rosemaund whisky made?

Our English single malt whisky is made and matured at Rosemaund Farm Distillery in Herefordshire. Our casks remain here at the distillery throughout maturation.

What is English single malt whisky?

English single malt whisky is produced at a single distillery in England using malted barley. At Rosemaund, we make whisky with a strong sense of place, shaped by our Herefordshire home and the individual casks selected for each release.

How should I store my whisky?

Keep the bottle upright in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and significant changes in temperature.

What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?

Please photograph the bottle and packaging and contact us as soon as possible at hello@rosemaund.com. We’ll put it right.

Can I return my order?

Please contact us at hello@rosemaund.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Bottles must remain unopened and in their original packaging unless they are faulty or damaged.

Who should I contact if I need help?

Email us at hello@rosemaund.com and a member of the Rosemaund team will be happy to help.
